Paper: Assessing low dose aerosolised toxins using the Advanced Integrated Respiratory Model
Download PaperPatrick He is a postdoctoral researcher in the Respiratory Technology group at the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Technology, Sydney in 2023, specialising in cell biology and proteomics. His Ph.D. research focused on the roles of the ABCA1 transporter and oxidative modifications to lung extracellular matrix in controlling inflammation and remodelling in chronic lung diseases. He has presented his research at numerous local and international conferences, including ERS 2022 and ECM 2022.
Since completing his Ph.D., Patrick has expanded his expertise to encompass biochemistry, pharmaceutics, and biotechnology. Currently, he is actively engaged in various projects involving drug delivery testing for inhaler devices and the development of 3D respiratory models. His multidisciplinary approach aims to advance the understanding and treatment of respiratory conditions through innovative research and technology.
