Paper:  Determining measured experimental values of density to aid formulation development of new environmentally friendly propellant mixtures with Ethanol

Lauren Harrison started her career in pulmonary drug delivery as an apprentice, gaining a Level 5 HND with Distinction in Chemical Science for Industry. She is currently studying at the University of Nottingham for a BSc in Chemistry with Industry whilst working in her current role as an Apprentice Formulation Scientist at Kindeva Drug Delivery Ltd (formerly 3M Drug Delivery Systems Division 3M UK PLC). Here Lauren leads projects for the early-stage development of pressurised metered dosage inhalers and has a particular interest in in-vitro and in-vivo relations, contributing towards research into the use of in-silico modelling to better understand and predict clinical outcomes of products. Most recently Lauren has been actively developing pMDIs with new low GWP propellants and has led recent research on formulation excipient solubility, drug compatibility and stability evaluations of potential future products.
