Yuqing (Yukie) Ye :

Yuqing (Yukie) Ye

University of Western Ontario

Yuqing (Yukie) Ye is currently a Ph.D. graduate student of Biomedical Engineering, working with Professor Dr. Jesse Zhu at the University of Western Ontario, Canada. Her research focuses on the study of dry powder formulation for pulmonary drug delivery purposes, including the effect of tertiary components and the preparation procedure on the aerosol performance, as well as inhaler modification and inhaler design. Yukie received her bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutics from Shenyang Pharmaceutical University, China. She joined Dr. Jesse Zhu's group and started her Ph.D. journey. Till now, she has submitted and published several paper works on SCI journals as an author or co-author. Since 2020, Yukie is working with a team from YiHe Inhal Pharma, developing a stable and reproducible dry powder formulation for asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) treatment.
