Rachael Miles is a Senior Lecturer in Chemistry at the University of Bristol and the Course Director for the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Aerosol Science. The CDT is a collaboration between 9 institutions from across the UK and will train almost 200 PhD students in aerosol science from 2019 to 2032, spanning areas from drug delivery to the lungs to atmospheric aerosols, materials science, disease transmission and instrumentation. Dr Miles leads on the design and delivery of all aspects of the CDT’s four-year training and research PhD programme, including spearheading initiatives to widen access to postgraduate research through her role as Chair of the CDT’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I) Committee.
