Patrícia Henriques is a PhD student at Hovione and the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Coimbra and a scientist in the formulation development team of the Inhalation and Advanced Drug Delivery Group at Hovione R&D. Her doctoral research is focused on nasal powder delivery and the relationship between particle engineering and in vitro/in vivo performance. Patrícia holds a master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Coimbra. Before undertaking doctoral studies, she worked as a pharmacist in a community pharmacy.
The primary motivation for her work in nasal delivery is finding innovative solutions to improve the well-being of patients.
