Nur Sena Basarir achieved her pharmacist degree in Hacettepe University Faculty of Pharmacy in Ankara, Turkey and continued her PhD studies in Istanbul University Department of Pharmaceutical Technology. She is currently a part of Assoc. Prof. Ayca Yildiz Pekoz laboratory team as a PhD candidate and works as a project expert in Pulmocures company. Her expertise and projects center around formulation development and drug targeting for lung related diseases, antiviral treatments for the COVID-19 pandemic, and buccal formulations for immunocompromised patient groups.
She is also a member of Pulmonary Drug Researchers Association and is a contributing member of Pulmonary Drug Development (PDD) Conference.
