Paper: Investigation of the dispersibility for softpellets and the beneficial effect of artificial dispersing aids

Melvin Wostry is a PhD candidate at the Department of Pharmaceutics and Biopharmaceutics, Christian-Albrechts-University Kiel in the research group of Prof. Scherließ. He was approved as a pharmacist in 2020 at the University of Hamburg. The final semester he spent at the University of Copenhagen working in the research group of solid state pharmaceutics developing a method for coamorphous systems by freeze drying. Since November 2021 he is working in Kiel and his current specialisation focuses on dry powder inhaler formulations and the beneficial application of additive manufacturing techniques in this context. This includes the utilization of artificial components in dry powder formulations. In his work he establishes the implementation of in silico techniques for rapid prototyping and validation of in vitro data.
