Julia Berends is a PhD student at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Biopharmacy at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences (2016), a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (2018), and a master’s degree in Pharmacy (2021) from the University of Groningen. In November 2021 she started her PhD research in the group of Professor Frijlink. Her research focuses on high-dose dry powder formulations for inhalation, in particular on particle properties affecting the performance of dry powder formulations for inhalation.
