John McLaughlin

Intertek Melbourn

John McLaughlin is a Principal Scientist at Intertek Melbourn, where he specializes in LC-MS analysis for the Biologics team. He manages LC-MS work, analysing a wide range of samples, including small molecule impurities in pharmaceuticals and large molecules like proteins and oligonucleotides in inhaled formulation products. John earned his Master's degree in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Warwick. Since then, he has worked with various research organizations, focusing on bioanalysis of both small and large molecules. His expertise lies in method development and validation within GLP, GCP, and GMP regulated environments.
