Paper: Computational Approach for Estimation of Formulation-dependent Fluid Dynamics in a Nasal Delivery Device

Download Paper

Hessam Rasooli Nia completed his Master of Pharmacy at the University of Hertfordshire where he was awarded the Krishna Patel memorial award for “Best Clinical student at Level 7”. During this time, he developed an interest in researching mental health and alternative routes for targeted and systemic drug delivery. Following the completion of his Pharmacy Training Year, Hessam joined the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Aerosol Science, where he is carrying out his PhD at the University of Hertfordshire in collaboration with University College London and Bespak.
Under supervision of Dr Michael Cook and Professor Darragh Murnane, Hessam’s PhD focuses on development of smart thermoresponsive and shear-thinning polymeric formulations for next-generation systemic and nose-to-brain nasal drug delivery.
