Paper: Nanocelle® Nasal Spray: Formulation Development and Biological Characterisation of Insulin Nanomicelle

Dr Chun Yuen (Jerry) Wong is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow (2021-present) at the Respiratory Technology team at the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research, Australia. He has a research background in oral formulation development, with his post-doc training expanding to respiratory and nasal drug delivery. He specialises in pharmaceutical science, focusing on nanomedicine, protein/ peptide formulations and biomaterials. Since 2017, Dr Wong has had 22 peer-reviewed publications in the field of pharmaceutical science and nanotechnology. Dr Wong is currently leading several projects for respiratory and nasal drug delivery, including the development of a cell-integrated lung model for the characterisation of dry powder formulations, intranasal delivery of nanocarrier using proprietary technology for diabetes management, optimisation of resveratrol dry powder for lung cancer treatment, and understanding the potential of a thermosensitive polymer for nose-to-brain drug delivery.
