Benoît Delache

Université Paris-Saclay

Paper: A monoclonal anti-SARS-COV-2 IgG administered by intravenous or nebulization route reduces viral load in upper and lower respiratory tract

Benoît Delache is an engineer in animal experimentation. He has been working on infectious and autoimmune diseases for about twenty years within the French infrastructure IDMIT (Infectious Diseases Models for Innovative Therapies). In particular in non-human primates (NHP) as a preclinical model to evaluate prophylaxis or innovative treatments. For about ten years Benoît has led the operational activity in animal experimentation of the institute and managed the technical staff in charge of preclinical trials. Benoît is in charge of technological developments in aerosols and respiratory tract exposure to pathogens. His research interests include aerosol therapy, exposure to airborne pathogens (bacteria, viruses, toxins) and the metrology of corresponding aerosols using nuclear imaging.
