As part of the Device Development department, he is deeply involved in the design and development of innovative inhalation devices to address patients’ needs.
With a keen interest in complex flows, Baudouin’s technical expertise focuses on fluid flow modelling and various analyses. He specialises in flow visualisation combining high-speed imaging and image processing, allowing for detailed investigations of complex internal flows within the device. These investigations are complemented by Computational Fluid Dynamics and Particle simulations, to optimise the drug delivery and maximise device performance.
Involved in the MedTech industry since 2017, Baudouin holds a Master’s degree in Fundamental Physics and Applications from École Normale Supérieure de Lyon, and a PhD in Fluid Dynamics from the Université de Lyon. His academic background provides the foundation for his analytical approaches and technical skills, which he applies daily in translating physical principles into practical, patient-orientated inhalation technologies.
