Paper: A Novel Microdosing Device for Precise Dosing in Inhalation Therapy

Download Paper

My name is Alessia Pietropaolo and I’m an Italian girl.
I was born on 1 February 1999 in Parma, the city where I live and where I undertook my studies.
First I graduated from the Marconi scientific high school and then I enrolled at the University of
Parma.
I am studying Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology.
The courses that most interested me were pharmaceutical technology and pharmaceutical
chemistry, in which drugs for inhalation therapy were specifically dealt with, hence my interest.
During this course I took advantage of the opportunity of develop my thesis project at Trinity
College in Dublin under the guidance of professors Carsten Ehrhardt and Anne-Marie Healy.
This experience gave me the opportunity to hone certain sides of my character, such as
determination and indipendence. I also had the opportunity to interface with different realities and
different studies concerning the respiratory sistem.
