Abhimata Paramanandana is a Ph.D. candidate at King's College London, with a diverse academic background. He started his journey in pharmaceuticals by earning his B.Pharm degree from Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia, in 2011. Subsequently, he pursued a Master's Degree in Medical Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Groningen, Netherlands, in 2017. Before transitioning to academia, Abhimata gained industry experience by working for a year at the Indonesian pharmaceutical company, Bernofarm, where he focused on research and development. Since 2013, he has been a lecturer at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Universitas Airlangga. His research interests span a wide range of topics, from enhancing drug solubility to investigating inhalation drug delivery, and he's currently pursuing his Ph.D. at King's College London, exploring biorelevant in vitro methods for assessing inhaled products and mRNA delivery through the lungs, using in silico prediction, and physiological-based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) models.
