I Jou Chang is currently pursuing a master’s degree in the School of Pharmacy, Taipei Medical University (TMU), Taiwan. Her current research focuses on pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) modeling and physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) modeling of antisense oligonucleotides, reflecting her growing interest in advanced modeling techniques for novel therapeutics.
I Jou received her bachelor’s degree in the School of Pharmacy from TMU, where she was actively involved in research on the PBPK modeling of antipsychotics. She was awarded the Creative Award for Undergraduate Research Projects by Taiwan’s National Science and Technology Council in 2022. Through these projects, she gained strong logical skills for model-based drug development. She is currently working under the guidance of Professor Chein Ming Hsieh from the University of Kent to expand her expertise in pharmacokinetics.
In addition to her academic work, I Jou has actively engaged in seminars and workshops focused on medicinal chemistry to broaden her interdisciplinary knowledge. I Jou has been recognized for her academic excellence and research potential during her studies. Looking ahead, she aspires to pursue a Ph.D. and contribute to the advancement of drug development through mechanistic modeling. Her passion for science drives her vision of meaningful impact in pharmaceutical sciences.
