Ye Zhang is a Ph.D. candidate in the Faculty of Engineering of Macquarie University and the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research of The University of Sydney. She holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manitoba, Canada, and a Bachler degree in Energy and Power Engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University, China. Her research interests include Microfluidics, Lab on a Chip, Biosensor, and Computational Fluidic Dynamics. Ye Zhang is currently working on projects of study the biomechanism of biofilm development on a novel microfluidic device using electrochemical technique.

Ye Zhang also has five years’ industrial experience in new energy resource development and food manufacturing project management. She is a certificated mechanical engineer, constructor, Six Sigma Green Belt member, and Project Management Professional.
