Zitong Shao graduated from the Sun Yat-sen University (China) with a Bachelor Degree majoring in pharmacy in 2019. She then started her postgraduate study and now is a PhD candidate supervised by Dr. Jenny K.W. LAM and Dr. Aviva S. F. CHOW in the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy at the University of Hong Kong (Hong Kong SAR). Her research interest is focused on the development of the pulmonary delivery system for antibacterial agents, including small molecule antibiotics and antimicrobial peptides, towards lung infectious diseases especially for drug-resistant tuberculosis. She has published three peer-reviewed papers (including one as first author in Pharmaceutics).
