Xiaonan Zhang

Xiaonan Zhang

Fujian Medical University

Xiaonan Zhang is a first-year graduate student in Pharmacy at Fujian Medical University and serves as the class organizer for her pharmacy program.

Between her undergraduate studies and graduate school, she spent two years working—one job in a pharmacy-related field and another as a teacher. While her students were adorable and fond of her, she realized her true passion lay in pharmacy. Determined to pursue a career closer to her field, she studied diligently after work, passed the entrance exam, and returned to academia. Now, she cherishes the simple yet precious opportunity to focus entirely on learning.

However, having been away from campus life for two years and lacking recent exposure to specialized knowledge, many of her lab techniques are still self-taught through trial and error. She fully acknowledges that the experiments in her current paper are not perfect. After submission, she plans to further refine her work, minimizing controllable variables while reviewing more literature to ensure her research direction is sound.

She truly, deeply hopes to secure this conference opportunity for international exchange. If any revisions are needed, please don’t hesitate to let her know. Until then, she’ll keep improving her experiments and research project.
