Paper: New PillHalerĀ® device with higher resistance for dry powder formulations

Dr Valentina Trotta is an R&D Manager from 2020 for HollyCon Italy, a medical device company working on the development of dry powder inhalation (DPI) formulations and devices.

Valentina graduated in 2012 from the University of Ferrara in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology. In 2016 she obtained a Cotutelle PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Ferrara and Sydney working on the formulation development of DPI to treat inflammatory lung diseases. Valentina holds a Master from the University of Milan in Preclinical and Clinical drug Research and Development.

After 1 year in academia as a Postdoc, in 2017 she moved out from academia and worked in various roles across multinational pharmaceutical companies in the inhalation field.

Valentina is not new to DDL, she presented her PhD work at the Pat Burnell session in 2014 and she is an author of 11 scientific papers in various scientific journals.
