Thara Pannadewi is a Master of Research candidate at Macquarie University, under the supervision of Dr Hui Xing Ong, Professor Daniela Traini, Dr Julie Suman, and Dr Jerry Wong. She holds a Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours First Class) and a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from the University of Technology Sydney, where she conducted honours research on blood pressure regulation during pregnancy under the supervision of Emeritus Professor Paul Pilowsky. Professionally, Thara held a role as a project specialist at Syneos Health, where she supported global studies across multiple therapeutic areas.
Her current research interest lies in developing an in vitro nasal olfactory model for intranasal drug delivery to the brain.
