Sabrina Valetti

Sabrina Valetti

Malmö University

Sabrina Valetti (Associate Professor) has a joint double doctoral degree in Pharmaceutical and Biomolecular Sciences (University of Turin – Italy) and Pharmaceutics and Biopharmaceutics (University of Paris South 11 – France). Sabrina Valetti (Pharm.D., PhD) has experience in advanced pharmaceutical formulations, nanocarriers and drug delivery in both academia and industrial settings. Her broad expertise span from solid state, colloidal chemistry, biopharmaceutics, drug permeability across biological barriers and in vitro biology. During the recent years, she has developed a unique knowledge in mesoporous silica particles for oral and other administration routes. Dr. Valetti is currently employed at the Biofilms – Research Center for Biointerfaces (Malmö University) as Senior lecturer. Her current research focus is mucosal drug delivery (oral and pulmonary), inhalation and advanced 3D in vitro models.
