Download Presentation PDF

Ayasha is a final year PhD student at King’s College London. Ayasha’s research is focused on the development of a novel, safe and effective platform technology for enhancing drug delivery to the lung. Having a background in polymeric nanoparticulate research, her current work focuses on protein-based nanoparticles, with a particular interest in formulation and manufacture of respirable nanocarrier systems. Prior to starting her PhD in late 2014, Ayasha qualified as a pharmacist after undertaking pre-registration training at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. Ayasha is a member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and continues her work as a pharmacist alongside her PhD. In 2016, Ayasha won the award for Best Academic Poster at the DDL conference.
