Charlotta Gummeson

Charlotta Gummeson operates at the intersection of innovation, science, business, ownership and capital. Originally trained as a registered nurse, she also holds a BSc in Business Administration and Communication — a foundation that combines clinical understanding with commercial and strategic capability.
With more than three decades of leadership experience, Charlotta spent 15 years in big pharma across multiple therapeutic areas at organisations including GSK and Astellas. She later worked as an investment manager at one of the most active early-stage life science investors in the Nordics, supporting high-growth companies and scientific founders, before leading the turnaround and international expansion of one of the region’s largest science parks, Sahlgrenska Science Park, strengthening its commercial capacity and global partnerships.
Today, as CEO of Trustpoint Consulting and an active board member, she advises investors, company owners, and science-driven ventures, helping bridge academia, industry, capital and entrepreneurial talent for business growth. Charlotta focuses particularly on governance, disciplined commercial thinking and enabling early real-world validation to accelerate high-potential innovation.
