Hanieh Gholizadeh

Woolcock Institute of Medical Research

Dr Hanieh Gholizadeh completed her PhD in Engineering at Macquarie university, Sydney and the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research in 2021. Her research interests encompass finding engineering solutions for research questions in medical and pharmaceutical sciences. She has expertise in the development of novel nasal drug formulations with enhanced drug delivery efficacy as well as the development of physiologically relevant drug testing platforms using 3D printing and microfluidic technologies to improve the in-vitro in-vivo correlation of preclinical drug tests. Currently, she is a postdoctoral researcher at the Respiratory Technology team at the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research.
