Floris Grasmeijer studied Pharmacy at the University of Groningen after which he performed a PhD study on adhesive mixtures for inhalation under the supervision of Dr. Anne de Boer, Paul Hagedoorn and Prof. Erik Frijlink. During his post-doc studies at the same research group he became involved in the founding of PureIMS, a company that further develops the Cyclops dry powder inhaler platform. Since 2015 Floris works partly at PureIMS as Principal Scientist, and partly at the University of Groningen as a post-doctoral researcher.
