Elijah Nazarzadeh

Dr. Elijah Nazarzadeh is CEO of Acu-Flow Ltd. (t/a Nebu~Flow), developing next generation of nebulisers to transform respiratory drug delivery. Elijah obtained a PhD in Fluid Mechanics from King’s College London in 2012. Following two years of scientific consultation services, he joined the University of Glasgow where he conducted research on aerosolisation of liquids using surface acoustic waves, the Nebu~Flow nebuliser technology. He started commercialisation of his work sine 2018. He is recognised as a ‘Rising Star’ by the Life Science in Scotland in and as an Entrepreneur of the Year at the University of Glasgow in 2020. He won a number of awards including the Higgs Award from Scottish Edge and a Lee Lucas Award from the Institute of Physics in 2020.
