Paper: In Vitro Scaling of Nebulised Doses of ETD001 for Clinical Trials in Paediatric Subjects with Cystic Fibrosis
Eddie French is an independent pharmaceutical consultant who specializes in drug product design and development. In this role he supports medicine development programmes in biotechs, established pharma companies and philanthropic organizations to design develop and manufacture products for clinical trails and the market place. He has a PhD is drug delivery and spent time as an academic at The University of Bath prior to spending the last 30 years in the pharmaceutical industry. Most of this time was spent with Pfizer in the UK, where he spent 7 years leading their biologics formulation development team. This was followed by 10 years working in the inhaled drug delivery space including numerous small molecule inhaled projects and the development of a second generation of Pfizer's inhaled insulin product Exubera. He finished his career at Pfizer as Director of Device Enabled Drug Delivery. Since then, Eddie has worked on a variety inhaled and nasal products with a wide variety of organisations in a consultant role.
Eddie is a previous chair of the Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Great Britain and its inhaled product focus group.
