Cuong H Tran

i2c Pharmaceutical Services

Cuong is Principal Scientific Officer at i2c Pharmaceutical Services, a leading service provider for the development of pharmaceutical formulations. He holds a PhD in Vision Sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences. Following his PhD in 2003, he took up a postdoc position at Cardiff University’s School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences conducting research extensively involved in the reformulation and development of novel pMDI formulations. In 2008, he joined i2c Pharmaceutical Services as Senior Researcher, involved mainly in a UNIDO project for the phasing out of CFC consumption in pMDIs in Article 5 countries. During this time, he advanced his expertise and experience on pressurised metered dose inhaler product development, optimization and characterisation.
