Claire Patterson

Claire Patterson is Senior Principal Scientist at Seda Pharmaceutical Development Services, an award-winning CRO providing Pharmaceutical Development and Clinical Pharmacology services to the Pharma and Biotechnology industry.

Claire has a Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) from the University of Nottingham and a Ph.D. in BioPharmaceutics of Long Acting Injectables from University College London. Claire is an experienced Biopharmaceutics scientist having spent 12 years with former employer AstraZeneca with roles in Early and Late Stage Product Development, linking in vitro to in vivo product performance. Current focus areas include subcutaneous and complex parenteral biopharmaceutics (including nanomedicines) and other non-oral routes of administration.

Seda’s expertise includes preclinical and clinical formulation design, drug product development (including complex medicines), DMPK, CMC Regulatory and clinical pharmacology services provided through a combination of consultancy, laboratory, and PK modeling capabilities.
