Ulrika Tehler Biography
Dr. Ulrika Tehler is an Associate Director within Advanced Drug Delivery, Pharmaceutical Sciences at AstraZeneca in Gothenburg, Sweden. Ulrika joined AstraZeneca in 2009, and have since then pioneered the inhaled dissolution area within AstraZeneca, and been a major contributor to the development of Lung-SIM, an in silico tool for physiologically based biopharmaceutical predictions for inhaled drug delivery. Currently she is leading a multidisciplinary team in the Preformualtion & Biopharmaceutics area.
Ulrika earned her PhD in organic chemistry from University of Southern California. Prior to joining AstraZeneca, she held academic post-doc positions in the field of pharmaceutical sciences at University of Michigan and Uppsala University.

Rebecca Fransson
Dr. Rebecca Fransson is an Associate Principal Scientist within Advanced Drug Delivery, Pharmaceutical Sciences at AstraZeneca in Gothenburg, Sweden. Rebecca joined AstraZeneca in 2014, and have since then been working with the biopharmaceutical aspects of inhaled products. In her research she has been focusing on dissolution of inhaled drug products, and working with Lung-SIM, an in silico tool for physiologically based biopharmaceutical predictions for inhaled drug delivery.
Rebecca earned her PhD in medicinal chemistry from University of Uppsala. Prior to joining AstraZeneca, she held academic post-doc positions in the field of medicinal chemistry at University of Montreal and a research position at Uppsala University.
