Dr Tim Noakes :

Dr Tim Noakes

Medical Products Technical Associate, Mexichem

Dr Tim Noakes joined ICI in 1975 as an organic fluorine chemist. Since then he has worked in a wide variety of fields, including laser chemistry, crop protection, electrostatic spraying and, for the last 25 years, the science of MDI propellants.

Over that time he has assisted many of the MDI companies around the world in developing their offerings, and has gained a wide knowledge of the strengths and weaknesses of the current technology base.

Tim is now focused not only on continuing to develop technical support for existing MDI formulations and technologies, but also investigating whether newer, more environmentally acceptable, MDI options exist.
The medical propellants business Tim works in, which originated with ICI, is now owned by Mexichem who acquired it in 2010 from its previous owners. Mexichem is deeply committed to continuing to develop this business, with support for both current and potential future products
