Simon is a Principal Partner at ERM, a global sustainability consulting business, and heads its Product Services & Regulatory Affairs team.  He has over 30 years of experience in the environmental field, and specialises in appraising resource efficiency and the sustainability of products.  He has been a contributing member to many working groups, including the Steering Group for the GHG Protocol Product Life Cycle Accounting and Reporting Standard; the Sustainable Healthcare Coalition, the UK Government’s Sustainable Development Commission Panel; the International Solid Waste Association’s (ISWA) Task Group on Greenhouse Gas Emissions; and the International Expert Group for Life Cycle Assessment for Integrated Waste Management (the IEG).  He has directed a large number of life cycle assessment, environmental footprint and greenhouse gas emission Scope 3 assessments of products, services and corporates across industry sectors, whilst focusing on projects in the healthcare sector, where he has worked for a number of multinational clients.
