Rahaf Oum is a final year PhD student in Pharmacy. She started her research in October 2016 and is currently working under the supervision of Dr Khaled Assi at the University of Bradford, UK. Her doctoral research focuses on the development of a dry powder inhaler and nebulised nano-particle based formulations of chrysin for the potential treatment of Asthma. She is in her last stage of the practical work of her research, which concentrates on the genotoxicity of the chrysin nano-emulsion formulations. Rahaf completed her bachelor degree in Pharmacy from the University of Damascus, Syria, in 2013. Her bachelor graduation project aimed at evaluating different types of tablets as a drug delivery system. She also holds a diploma in management from The International Professional Managers Association, England, UK.
