Download Paper

Jonathan Reid is Professor of Physical Chemistry at the University of Bristol. He is the director the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Aerosol Science and current president of the UK and Ireland Aerosol Society. He has approaching 200 publications in the areas of aerosol science and physical chemistry. Following the development of an array of novel experimental tools, including particle traps for probing the microphysics of individual particles, his current work spans atmospheric aerosol processes, drug delivery to the lungs, formulation science and aerosol routes for the transmission of disease. He has held EPSRC Advanced and Leadership Fellowships, and received numerous awards from the Royal Society of Chemistry including the Corday Morgan and Marlow medals.
