Chief Scientist

Peter York is Chairman and Chief Scientist of CrystecPharma, a crystal engineering and particle design company applying supercritical fluid technologies to provide solutions in formulation design and product performance across the healthcare, agrochemical and related industries, as well as offering innovative concepts for repurposed medicines.
Dr York was Professor of Pharmaceutics at Bradford University until 2010 and is now an Emeritus Professor at Bradford. He has published over 350 scientific articles, has been granted numerous patents and served as Chairman of several university spin-out companies since 1995. He has consulted widely for the pharmaceutical industry, is a member of the MHRA Expert Advisory Group for Chemistry and Pharmacy, and an advisor for EMA and WHO. He is also a Chinese Academy of Science Visiting Professor at Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica.
