Paper: Challenging the Challenges of Nanoparticle Testing Using In Vitro Methods

Download Paper

I’m Nashwa Osman, currently finishing my PhD in nanotoxicology of nanoparticles as drug delivery carriers for the pulmonary system. I have been studying in this novel field of research concerning Nanomaterials and their toxicological evaluation since my master’s degree. This novel field of science is being very challenging to many food and health regulatory bodies not only due to the exceptional properties offered by these novel materials but also their immense challenges in the safety and toxicity assessment. Hence, my research is to uncover the toxicological aspects of these novel materials and optimize their technical experimentation.
