Mark graduated in Human Biology from London and subsequently did an MBA. His professional career has been focussed on the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, where he has originated a number of patents aimed at improving asthma monitoring and inhaler technique. Currently, as Chief Technology Officer at Clement Clarke International, Mark is able to combine his interest in inhalation history with the development of improved inhalation technologies. Mark frequently lectures on improving inhaler technique to professional audiences.
Mark Sanders is also the founder of an online museum of medical inhalation technology, www.inhalatorium.com . As an expert on the history of inhalation devices Mark has authored articles for peer reviewed respiratory clinical journals, such as Primary Care Respiratory Journal and Respiratory Disease in Practice, as well as medical history journals.
