Paper: In Vitro Performance of the Handihaler and the Respimat Soft Mist Inhaler Under Inhalation Profiles Simulating COPD
Janelle Soong graduated from King’s College London in 2020 with an MPharm (Pharmacy) degree. She has a keen interest in pharmaceutical drug delivery, particularly in the field of inhaled drug therapy. Janelle undertook her Masters research project in collaboration with Intertek, under the supervision of Professor Ben Forbes and Mark Parry. Her work focused on comparing the performance of tiotropium inhalers under inhalation profiles simulating the different stages of COPD. During her time at King’s, Janelle spent a year working in Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance in Manufacturing and Supply at GlaxoSmithKline. This is her first time participating in the DDL Conference. Janelle is currently undertaking a split pre-registration training programme with GlaxoSmithKline and Day Lewis.
