Download PaperDan is a Senior Consultant in the Medical Technology Division at Cambridge Consultants, where he is a member of the Physics and Sensors group. Since joining Cambridge Consultants in 2016 he has worked on a variety of medical development programmes as both a subject matter expert and in technical leadership roles, developing a number of medical devices including inhalers, nebulisers, autoinjectors and diagnostic systems. He has a keen interest in inhalation science and is currently involved in several innovative respiratory drug delivery device projects.
Dan is a physicist by training with considerable professional experience of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics, in particular engineering simulation, numerical and statistical modelling and computational fluid dynamics. He applies his technical expertise and systems engineering approach by leading multidisciplinary design and development teams, working at every stage of the product design process.
Prior to joining Cambridge Consultants, Dan worked in industry as a fluid systems specialist, taking a number of successful consumer technology products from early concept through to mass manufacture.
Dan has a Masters’ in Physics from the University of Bristol.
