Summer Event – New Researcher Network

The New Researcher Network Summer Event is an opportunity for academic PhD students and post doctoral researchers to gain an interesting insight into research and development within the pharmaceutical industry. The NRN committee has put together an exciting programme with help from DDL and our industrial partner Viatris.
Programme
- Arrival at King’s College London (UK)
- Introductions from NRN committee: Lucy, Scott & Julia
- Two invited guest speakers
- Quick fire introductions from NRN delegates
- Travel arranged to Sandwich (UK)
- Networking dinner in the evening
- Viatris to provide insights into the journey of a drug from bench to market with a case study of a product developed at the Sandwich site
- Presentations by Viatris colleagues
- Invited guest speaker
- Evening event: Sandwich tour & networking dinner
- Workshops and career talks
- Site/lab tour
- Invited guest speaker
- Concluding remarks and networking dinner
- Return to London (UK) and onward journey
Applications
Applications have been received from academic PhD students and post docs in the field of orally inhaled and nasal drug products . Participants will be selected based on their CV and a motivational letter. The deadline for applications has passed.
Applicants will be contacted over the coming weeks with the outcome.
Costs
The Summer Event is free to attend.
Food, accommodation, and travel will be covered.
